The Channel Islands National Park offers incredible diving, breathtaking hikes, and unbelievable sea cave kayaking opportunities. This unique Dive Expedition provides it all. Limited to 24 passengers.
Sample Itinerary (this is only a sample of what is possible... we must consider the current conditions and weather when making a final plan at departure.)
Day 1 - Dive the front side of San Miguel Island in the morning with 2 early dives before lunch. After lunch take a small boat ride to the white sandy beaches of Cuylers Bay to explore the remote landscape of San Miguel Island.
Day 2 - Enjoy 2 more dives at San Miguel island in the morning at the backside where Wyckoff Ledge is located. During lunch we'll motor to the kelp forests of Santa Rosa Island for our 2 afternoon dives.
Day 3 - Start the day with 2 morning dives at Gull Island, a beautiful Marine Reserve where Sea Lion encounters are frequent. During lunch we'll motor back to Santa Rosa where we'll land and hike the ancient forests and ranch site at Bechers Bay. An evening dive will be available at the South East side of Bechers.
Day 4 - Wake up and dive the Volcanic cliffs at Santa Cruz Island for your morning dive. During the first dive we'll put kayaks in the water for the sea cave kayak adventure into the Giants of Painted Cave. After the 2 hour kayak adventure you'll have time for 1 more dive before we turn back towards Santa Barbara.
All kayaking and hiking is guided by trained naturalists and professional guides. The diving is deck supervised by Divemasters. We provide the Air, you provide the tank and gear. Bunk accomodations for this trip are provided and all means are included from our 5 star galley.
